Just like a mirror – You use it admire yourself and to check how you appear to others – But sometimes you use it to look at yourself

What does coffee do – It charges you up, rejuvenates you, revives you – Is it possible only with the taste, aroma, the temperature.

Or is there something else at work – Something that touches your soul and reenergizes you – Something that travels from your tongue not to any part of your body or brain but to that jumble of meaning & associations that you call soul.

 

Have we lost the ability to feel – Everything needs to be dissected & digested – Can’t there be soul-feelings that can be absorbed – Have we really lost that ability or dawning consciousness has robbed mankind of these feelings – Is there a greater play in civilization to dehumanize the race – Are we moving slowly and subtly towards a common blueprint in mind and body

 

Consumerism – Indulge your senses – Power to fulfill al your desires – Till you become a slave to success – Is that what India is in its roots – Or are we being pulled along these directions – And if we are being pulled , who is pulling us – Is there a larger conspiracy to rob cultures of their stability , their sense of virtue into something much more shallow ( Use Geert Hofstede’s cultural model )

 

What are the positive traits of the Indian culture – Collectivism / Virtue / Frugality / Perseverance – Which need a stronger soul – Are we being coaxed into a richer existence and an impoverished soul – Who would benefit from this ? Does civilization / culture mean losing touch with primitive / primal life-forces – Are we losing the ability to think independently

 

Is there something about the soul and spirituality that we do not understand / comprehend – Is there a power that can be unleashed through the soul – Or through collective unleashing of a mass of souls – Is civilization of the races robbing us of this ability – Are there forces that are acting towards this – The large trends that we see are they all hurtling towards a common end

-          Westernisation

-          Loss of virtue

-          Consumerism

-          Extinction

-          Environment Disaster

 

Is current Science the way to distract from searching for these questions – Hunt for it and it will disappear. Mirage of ever expanding knowledge – True knowledge is what you want it to be
